August 8, 2012-CHN PPO Announces Partnership with Barnabas Health Corporate Care

Hamilton, NJ (August 8, 2012) Consumer Health Network PPO (CHN PPO), a URAC-accredited network of over 125,000 health care providers, today announced an expanded partnership with Barnabas Health. Under a new agreement, Barnabas Health Corporate Care will join the CHN PPO Network, which already includes Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and Monmouth Medical Center as participating hospitals. CHN PPO is a division of Consolidated Services Group (CSG), a technology-driven, clinically-based medical claims management provider.

This new partnership will significantly strengthen CHN PPO’s specialized provider network, which is focused on delivering the highest quality care and achieving the best possible outcomes for people injured in workplace and automobile accidents.

As part of New Jersey’s largest integrated health system, Barnabas Health Corporate Care offers comprehensive occupational health and wellness programs. Services are delivered under the direction of board-certified, fellowship-trained specialists in occupational medicine to ensure timely treatment and recovery after work-related injury, and to keep employees healthy year-round.

“CHN PPO enjoys a strong partnership with Barnabas Health and we are excited to add these stellar corporate care facilities to our provider network,” said Michael A. Morrone, CSG founder and president. “Adding providers highly skilled in diagnosing and treating workplace injuries will support our continued expansion in the national workers’ compensation marketplace.”

Each provider in CHN’s network undergoes a rigorous credentialing process, including a re-credentialing process every three years in accordance with URAC standards. Specialties include but are not limited to primary care, occupational medicine, orthopedics, physical therapy, trauma centers and urgent care facilities throughout the Northeastern United States. CHN also offers access to PPO services nationwide through a network of PPO affiliates.

For Barnabas Health Corporate Care, the partnership will provide access to the growing list of workers’ compensation policyholders served by the CHN PPO network.

“Barnabas Health continually seeks partnerships with organizations that enhance access for patients to our high quality services close to home in their respective community,” said Joe Hicks, president and chief executive officer of Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Network and Barnabas Health Corporate Care. “We look forward to putting Barnabas Health’s expertise and breadth and depth of services to work for the members of CHN PPO.”
